Eight years ago, Sketches Montessori was born from a simple vision — to create a space where children could grow with curiosity, independence, and joy, and where parents felt truly supported in their journey of raising mindful, confident human beings. For us, this journey to build a meaningful Montessori community in Delhi-NCR has been filled with deep purpose, personal growth and meaningful relationships. What began as a parent-led effort has blossomed into a collective mission, supported by committed team members and a community that shares our vision. We are filled with gratitude for this shared journey and remain dedicated to offering a transformative learning environment for children and adults alike.
This collection of reflections from our community is a celebration of that journey. Here, our parents and educators from our Casa and elementary community have shared their heartfelt reflections — stories of growth, trust, and the everyday transformations they have witnessed in children and in themselves. We are deeply grateful to our entire community for sharing their thoughts and feelings with us.
By sharing them openly, we hope everyone — parents, educators, and even new families looking to join our community — can find something to connect with and learn from. We hope these words give you a glimpse of what makes Sketches more than just a school — it is a collective journey of growing together.
Here is a touching poem by Sarah, Sumaiyya’s mother —a beautiful reflection of the love, hopes, and feelings we all carry as parents.
